A seaside retreat

The first phase of a three phased proposal for a former olive farm by the Aegean sea  features a masonry two-storey structure housing a car garage and a garden-room. Design evolves around the existing olive trees with a minimum impact on the site and includes rain-water collection and solar energy systems. Stone from a local bedrock was used during the construction of the building, and the existing concrete ramp on site was used to define the footprint of the building.

The garden room opens up to the peaceful sea view with a fully glazed south facade and a corner window.
